Experimental detection of the multi-branch hysteresis of the droplet states sitting on a horizontal stretchable substrate

In this paper, the states of liquid drops sitting on a horizontal elastic cyclically stretched and then weakened substrate were studied experimentally. A thin rubber band was used as substrate, glycerin liquid. multi-branch hysteresis drop detected. The number branches in can be adjusted by changing time program for stretching–loosening tension.
